I’m Tracy, a Lansing, Michigan based website designer helping growing businesses create thoughtful, strategic websites that feel polished, personal, and actually reflect the business behind them.

Good design doesn’t happen by accident.

It starts with getting clear on who you are, who you’re talking to, and what you actually need your website to do.

That’s where every project starts.

My story

I didn’t exactly plan on becoming a web designer.

I started out behind a camera, helping people tell stories through photography. Somewhere along the way, that turned into designing websites — and honestly, it made a lot of sense.

I’ve always cared about how things feel, how they connect, and how the little details shape the bigger story. Now I bring that same perspective into every website I design.

BEFORE WEB DESIGN,

I spent years as a photographer in Lansing — first shooting portraits, then moving into product and food photography. I worked closely with brands to create visuals that actually meant something, which taught me a lot about storytelling, art direction, and what makes people pay attention.

BEHIND THE SCENES,

I was also constantly tinkering with my own Squarespace site. Layouts, structure, user experience… I was probably spending way too much time on it for someone who technically wasn’t a web designer yet. 😂

IN 2025,

I made the shift into website design and branding full time. Different medium, same foundation: thoughtful design, visual storytelling, & creating something that actually feels like the person or business behind it.

Strategy first. Personality always.

The design matters.

So does the process.

You’re not hiring someone to check boxes. You’re working with someone who takes the time to understand what you’re building, where you’re headed, and what your website actually needs to do.

My process is thoughtful, collaborative, and structured to keep things clear from start to finish — without making you feel like you suddenly need a degree in web design.
